Email Scam: COCA COLA Company (by attachment)

So, here comes another one of the email scams. In the last few days, people on the internet have become smart enough to understand that they are not going to win money from a contest they did not participate in, no matter how big the company. They now understand that they are a very simple way of extracting money from you. So, looks like these scammers have a new way of doing their job. They are trying to make their scams look more trustworthy. Let’s have a look at a recent email that I received.

Here is what I see on opening the email:

So, until now, it looks like a normal message. I wanted to check what they have in store for me in the attachments and hence, I opened it. I have shared it in the form of images and for those who are unable to see the images, I have copy pasted it but you will be unable to see the images used in the attachment. These images form an integral part of the trust building process.
